Selecting a vSwitch

Hi all,  having issues moving a guest vm within a port group to an other vSwitch (newly created). The vSwitch i wish to move the guest vm to has a second NIC adaptor connected to the WAN.

vmware esxi 6.7, how is a guest vm which is currently connected to the default vSwitch, moved to other vSwitches  (within same ESXi host)  ?

Did you create a port group on the new switch for VM traffic?

Can you attach screenshots of the configuration?

what issue you are facing? Any error? Here is the process.

1. Create a portgroup on new vSwitch

2. Edit settings of VM

3. Change network label, select the portgroup that you created on new switch.

Create a VM portgroup on the new vSwitch and map the VM network adapter to the newly created portgroup (from VM --> Edit Settings --> Select Network Adapter --> Select the new network from the drop-down).

Add VM portgroup - Add a Virtual Machine Port Group in the VMware Host Client

Cheers,
