have an error messsage:

VMware Player unrecoverable error: (vmx)  Exception 0xc0000005 (access violation) has occurred.
but no migration from ESX before, how can i sole the problem?

please provide some more details.

At exactly which point do you see this error message?

Did it work before, or is it a new (created/imported) VM?

In case you are getting it while starting a virtual machine, check whether a new vmware.log file is being created in the VM's folder, and attach this file to a reply post.

Hi André

The error occour when i try to start the machine with VM Ware Player (always use the Player).
The VM is an existing one, no modifications done, always woring well.
The log i will post tonight.

Did you install any updates lately (Windows, Anti Virrus, ...)?

Can you please start VMware Player in elevated mode (i.e. "Run as Administrator") to see whether this makes a difference?

When i run the Player as Administrator, the VM can be started.
I am sorry, did not think about this possibility.
