hi,
how is better to have dns dhcp server in a VM or in dedicated servers outside of esxi-i mean dns dhcp run on linux server that is not a VM.tnx.
Welcome to the Community,
IMO there's no need to run this on dedicated hardware. The point is that you should be aware on which ESXi host this server is registered, so that in case the entire environment is down, and you need to power it up, you can power on the systems in a proper sequence, i.e. 1. ESXi host on which the DHCP/DNS server is registered, 2. the DHCP/DNS server VM, ...

this is a vm vs physical system discussion. The answer is... it depends as there is no 'better' only pros and cons
i was thinking that having dns/dhcp on a linux server which is separated from any ESXi server is better-here we can have master/slave dns.in ha cluster esxi sure the vm with dhcp/dns server will failover if the esxi server is faulty.in this last case is no need to have dns master/slave virtual machines.right?
