vCloud 9.1 html5 ui vmxnet3 nic missing, only E1000E nic

We are a service provider and are going to remove the old flex portal and only publish the new html5 tenant portal.

The problem is that it´s not possible to choose vmxnet3 when creating a new vm in html5 ui.

is it possible to resolve this?

Hi,

you are right. The configuration of the NIC type seems to be missing in the HTML5 Interface.

Please Note that the HTML5 Interface is still in progress and should be in feature Parität with the Flash Interface within one of the next releases of vCD.

Best regards,

Markus

Yeah it's a bit of a pain. We have our documentation specifically mention to go into the Flash UI and change the vmmic. You could setup a template for use (depending on how you sell VM's) which has the correct NIC, that's what I've done.
