send mail notification for approver

Hi,

I don't like the Vra mail which are sent to the approver:

Action Needed: Request for XXXXXXXXXXX

How can I configure to send mail each time there is a need of approver action?

I try to use the Pre Approval subscription without any conditions (Run for all events) but the workflow which send the mail is not running at all

Now the vra sends mail for the approver with

subject:

Action Needed: Request for XXXXXXXXX

and the body:

Request Information

Deployment XXXXXXXXX

Requested by XXXXXXXXX

Request date 8/16/18 3:05 PM

Lease period Unlimited

I don't like the format of this mail, so I want to cancel it and all other mails of vra.

With the "Send mail notification" workflow I will send my own mail.

However, I try to use the pre approval subscription to accomplish this, but the workflow is not running.

That's not going to work for you, but you can customize those templates to some degree. See this blog post.

I have already seen this article. it is not an easy and clearly way.

I already know how to send and customize mails with "send notification mail to list" workflow.

I just want to know how can I use the subscription (or other easy way) in order to send mail in case of an approver need.

Yes, correct that it is not an easy and clearly way. Nothing is, because that's what the system is designed to do. You're welcome to try and develop your own workflow based on something like this:  vRealize Automation 7 External Approval Policy with vRealize Orchestrator Workflow | VMwarebits.com
