vCenter 6.7 expand iSCSI LUN

Hello,

i have an iSCSI LUN attached with 5TB. Now I increased this LUN to 10TB.

At the ESXi host I refreshed the storage devices - the new capacity is shown there correctly. But when I open the storage tab at vCenter there are still the 5TB shown.

How can I expand the LUN? "Increase Datastore Capacity" is empty, so I cannot select anything.

Thanks a lot

Tobias

Perform the below steps -

1) Right click on the cluster --> Storage --> Rescan All --> To perform 'Rescan All' operation on all the hosts accessing the datastore.

2) Once the rescan is completed on all the hosts, login to a host directly and expand the datastore.

3) Right click on the cluster --> Storage --> Rescan All.

Now the vCenter should consistently report the new capacity of the datastore.
