We have approximately 100 users using View. The majority of them are using Dell Zero Client and are working perfectly fine.
But we also have a couple desktop that are running the VMWare Horizon Client.
When a user is using Horizon Client, it runs perfectly fine for about 5 or 6 hours and then the application freeze and the whole computer also freeze (mouse moving but CTRL+ALT+DEL not working). We have to reboot the desktop.
Basically, they log-in between 8-9AM and around 14PM their computer freeze. The temporary solution we found is to make them reboot their desktop when they leave for lunch, their are then fine for the whole afternoon.
This happenning to all our users running Horizon Client on a desktop. This is a year old problem, was always there (I just joigned the compagny and my collegues haven't found a solution for this).
We use VMware Horizon Client version 4.8.0 buid-8547331.
Our desktop are Lenovo M72p running Windows 7 x64. They have i3 CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB HHD.
Anyone have any idea what we would do to fix this?
Do you have a view client log to share ?
Did you check windows update on host ?
Wireless or wired connectivity ?
