VMFS ESXi 6.0 created partition/HDD

Hallo zusammen,

Ich bin neu in diesem Gebiet und wollte ESXI  6.0 installieren und zwar auf eine Memory-Stick.

Leider nach dem Installation und die Verbindung zum esxi via vSphere Client gebaut ist, hat im host pc das Windows nicht mehr funktioniert und scheinbar hat esxi die festplatte verwindet und Windows beschädigt.

Gibt es was zu retten? und wie?

Bitte in Detail beschreiben. und falls nicht kann mann diese Festplatte wieder für Windows verwindet?

Ich sehe diese festplatte unter Windows nicht mehr.

Did you mean that you installed ESXi on the same HDD which contains windows OS, or you have divided the HDD into two partitions?

As i mentioned above, i install it on a memory stick and i put the memory stick in a Laptop with windows 10 and start the esxi and from another laptop i made a connection with VMware vSphere Client to the esxi to configure it.

after that the host Laptop with windows 10 does not work anymore.

You mean you can no longer boot from windows 10?

You can boot up from ESXI while you can't boot from windows 10?

If yes, you should repair boot menu.

In fact you want to install windows and ESXi on one system (Dual Boot).

exactly that is the situation now. the problem i can not access the harddisk from windows anymore to reinstall it (Dual Boot).

to be more correctly i did not install ESXi to the same darddisk. it is installed on a memory stick which in the same Laptop of windows 10.

I believe that ESXi used the Harddisk of windows 10 to write some scratch partition & and so damages the Windows 10.

I suggest you boot using windows live and then backup your important data and then install operating system again.

Now you can benefit from VMware workstation for your virtualization environment.

Have you tried to repair windows boot using windows installation media?

Ich vermutle mal stark, dass die während der ESXi Installation die Festplatte des PC's zu einem VMFS Datenspeicher umformatiert wurde.

Je nach dem wieviele Daten am Anfang der VMFS Partition überschrieben/initialisiert wurden, sehe ich zwei Möglichkeiten.

Die erste wäre ein Versuch über z.B. eine Linux Live-CD die originale (Standard) Partitionierung einer Windows 10 Umgebung wiederherzustellen, um zu sehen ob damit wieder Zugriff auf die eigentliche Windows (Daten) Partition möglich ist. Die zweite Möglichkeit ist, den PC mittels Datenrettungstool zu starten und gefundene Dateien auf z.B. eine USB Platte zu sichern.

WICHTIG: In allen Fällen sollte von der Platte im jetzigen Zustand eine 1:1 Sicherung (ein Image) erstellt werden, um zu vermeiden, dass eventuell noch mehr Daten überschrieben werden.

Versuche mal continuum​ zu kontaktieren. Er kann Dir eventluell helfen oder Tips für's weitere Vorgene geben.

the problem i can not access this harddisk from windows & i tried to repair windows with windows creation tools, it does not work.

I tried to connect the darddisk with USB <-> sata bridge to anather Laptop. i see it but can do nothing with it (unknown system).

The ideal solution to the problem is backup the important data and then install operating system again but how!!! that is the question.

Das mit PC Tools geht überhaupt nicht. Das erste Lösung mit Linux scheint mir interessant.

Kann ich mit bootfähige Linux Installation auf ein Memory Stick starten und das Harddisk originale Partitionierung einer Windows 10 Umgebung wiederherzustellen?

Wie geht das (die Wiederherstellung von Windows 10 Partition !!! & nicht bootfähige Memory Stick Erstellen). Ich wäre froh wenn ich mehr Erklärung dazu bekomme!

Es war ein sehr seltener Zufall, dass HD kaputt war und deshalb hat auch nichts funktioniert.
