Connecting an external hard drive to a VMware fusion

Dear all,

I just try with VMware fusion, I install window 10 was successful, but I can't connect an external HDD from Mac.

Can someone help me?

Hi,

Did you install VMware Tools?

Also have a look at the following thread, it discusses a particular issue where passing USB to guests isn't working and has a solution for that as well:

USB devices no longer recognised on VMWare Fusion 10

And the external disk is formatted as

  • hfs+
  • afs
  • ntfs
  • a version for linux
  • ??????

I formatted as NTFS but still not connect with each other.
