How to run a workflow when guest OS reboots?

Hi,

I need to make changes to the virtual hardware on several VMs.

The changes requires the VMs to be completely shut down.

I have created a workflow that i want to kick in when a guestOS reboot event occur.

Is it possible to tell vRO to run a workflow when a reboot event is triggered inside the guestOS?

You could write a shutdown script that curls out to orchestrator, but there wouldn't be any way for it to know whether it was rebooting or shutting down. I think the changes you're making probably need the vm powered off, rather than just having the guest rebooted.
