If you upgrade vmware Tools today, the vmxnet driver is also upgraded (most of the times) and when this
is being done, the vm lost network for a very short moment.
This short moment is not short enough if you use Citrix PVS. The sreaming will be stopped and it will not be
resumed after vmxnet driver has been upgraded. Is there a way to upgrade vmware Tools in some way
without haveing this network loss?
Maybe if the installer just copied the drivers and then after a restart the vm guest will start to use them.
Has someone here jave any success with this upgrade and with PVS?
I dont want to reverse enginered the image and not use hyper-v for upgrade
