Error al Crear Snapshot (vSphere 5.5 y Veeam)

Estimados,

Buenas tardes, por favor sus conocimientos para resolver este error: No puedo respaldar una MV (Size: 450,1GB), la capacidad libre del Storage donde se encuentra almacenada maquina es de 262 GB.

Puede ser por que la MV tiene un tamaño de 450GB y el Storage donde se almacena dispone solo de 262GB libres?

Cuando Veeam realiza un respaldo full de una maquina virtual, entiendo que lo hace a través de Snapshot, sera necesario igualar a capacidad libre del storage al tamaño de la maquina virtual a respaldar?

Solucionado:

Estimados, por si alguien pasa por lo mismo, la solución en el siguiente articulo:

VMware Knowledge Base

El sistema operativo de la VM es Windows 2008 R2 y seguí estos pasos:

• Disable VSS application quiescing using the vSphere Client:

1. Power off the virtual machine.
2. Log in to the vCenter Server or the ESXi/ESX host through the vSphere Client.
3. Right-click the virtual machine and click Edit settings.
4. Click the Options tab.
5. Navigate to Advanced > General > Configuration Parameters.
6. Add or modify the row disk.EnableUUID with the value FALSE.
7. Click OK to save.
8. Click OK to exit.
9. Reboot the virtual machine for changes to take in effect.
10. Unregister the virtual machine from the vCenter Server inventory.
    
    To un-register the virtual machine:
    1. Power off the virtual machine.
    2. Right-click the virtual machine.
    3. Click Remove from Inventory.
    4. Reregister the virtual machine back to the inventory.
