Rebooting ESXi host with SRM Shadow VM

Hi All,

I need to restart a ESXi host in our recovery site hosting few SRM shadow VM. When trying to vmotion shadow VM to another host ,we receive a warning stating that the VM is managed by SRM and this may impact SRM operation.

What would be the safest way to reboot the ESXi host without tampering the SRM configuration.

SRM Version : 5. 8.1

vCenter : 5.5 U 3

Put the host in maintenance and then reboot the host... also you can migrate the VMs manually to a different host and ignore the warning message about the VM being managed by SRM.
