I have a few questions about using SmartCards with Horizon:
1. What is the use case / need for SmartCard Redirection to be enabled on the View Agent, if our SmartCard is USB-based and we have USB redirection enabled? I tested for example installing the View Agent without the Smart Card Redirection, and was able to still login and view my SC from within the VDI desktop.
2. What does the policy mean from within the GPO settings: Vmware View Agent Configuration -> Smartcard Redirection -> Local Reader Access -> Allow applications to access to Local smart Card readers
3. We have been able to successfully configured login to the Horizon Connection Server using our Smart Card, but are not able to use those credentials as an SSO cred to login to the subsequent VDI desktop. What could we be doing wrong and/or where can I check?
