boot camp?

I have been running Fusion / Win10 on an iMac 27 Retina without any major problems. Is it possible to install BootCamp and then use the already installed VM Windows partition?  I would like to have the option of running some Windows apps without going through VMware for better performance.

If it is possible, is there a recommended procedure?  I would like to avoid doing a coimplete reinstall of Windows and the apps, (primarily SolidWorks).

Thanks for any help!

Yes, you could run your Boot Camp as VM. Select Fusion File menu -> New-> Install from Boot Camp , then select 'Create a Boot Camp virtual machine' if you want to uses your Boot Camp volume directly or 'Import your Boot Camp volume' , this will create a separate boot camp VM.

No, you can't take a Virtual machine and move it to boot camp via an automated means.  You might be able to do some form of backup/restore, but that'd be the only option.
