I have installed VMWare on a virtual Windows 2016 server. On opening up GNS3 i a getting the message VMWare en Hyper-V are not compatible and the Hyper-V roles need removal. Tried that but no joy so far. I am also reading Microsoft and VMWare have to do some work together to solve this? Are there any new developments to be expected. Any other work arounds?

Would also like to be informed if/when there is a plan or schedule to allow VMware Workstation to operate with Hyper-V.
I can comment to say that we are committed to solving this feature gap.
Being transparent, it's an incredibly daunting engineering task. Not just a checkbox, it requires real, hard, extensive work to get it going, let alone meet our standards of quality.
It's going to take some time, but we have the engineering resource commitment to deliver.
