I know that Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) works for virtual distributed switches (vDS) but will it also work for standard vSwitches?
We are a Juniper shop and it would be nice to have LLDP work for standard vSwitches. We use vSwitches for our management network and vDS for vms, iSCSI, and vMotion. If it does not work under 6.5 does anyone know if it will work under the upcoming 6.7 release?
