ESXi 6 on a Dell R710 with Dual Xeon L5630 upgrading CPU's to X5660

I set up an ESXi 6.0 system on a Dell R710 with 2 Xeon L5630 cpu's.  I'm going to be upgrading the CPU's to X5660 (I have the Dell Gen II motherboard).  So the question is do I have to re-install ESXi in order to take advantage of the newer CPU's?  They go from 4 Core to 6 Core among other things.

Thanks,

Hello Roveer,

No, re-install is not necessary as the hardware is detected at boot and provided these are compatible ESXi shouldn't care.
