VCAP6-Deployment-3V0-623 Exam: How to install vSphere Client Integration Plugin 6.0

Dear VCAP experts,

Kindly advice me that how to intsall vSphere Client Integration Plugin 6.0 (CIP6.0) in the VCAP6-Deployment 3V0-623 Exam.

Normally if click download "vSphere Client Integration Plugin 6.0 (CIP6.0)" in vSphere 6.0 Web client console to install CIP in vSphere 6.0 Environment, it goes to vmware.com internet which is not allowed in the Exam.

Thanks for bringing this to the community. Am planning to write the deploy exam soon and I was not aware of this.

I believe the CIP would be pre-installed by default for the exam. You can check this through the control panel of your Windows server. There are few things to consider to enable the CIP on your browser. (This applies to IE and Chrome as well.)

1) Enable Flash content on your web browser.

2) Add the vcenter url to the trusted URLs tab of your security settings in IE. (Since chrome takes settings from IE, no changes are needed in it).

3) Make sure pop-up blockers are not enabled.
