Fusion 10 Pro 10.1.1 - Becomes Extremely Slow on Guest Network I/O

Hi,

Running Fusion 10 Pro on OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. Guest OS is Windows XP Pro SP3.

When copying a large folder across a network share (a real network share from a Windows PC, via network folder on OS X, then shared with the guest OS), the virtual machine becomes extremely slow.

It doesn't affect only the guest OS copying the files, but it slows the entire VM host down. OS X continues to operate normally, but everything related to Fusion causes the beachball for about 5 seconds each time a menu is clicked.

The VM continues to run, but with very long delays between everything.

Fusion 10 Pro is Version 10.1.1. Hardware is MacBook Pro 13 (Mid-2014). Core i5 2.6 GHz, 8 Gb memory. Network connection is WiFi.

Copying the file directly between the Mac and the Windows computer is fine.

Is your virtual network set to NAT mode or is it bridged to physical LAN?
