How to perform physical vCenter server dualization?

Dear all,

Basically I want to dualize 2 vCenters so they can work as backup for each other.

Each vCenter is installed on separate machine and I want to connect them to work as back up for each other.

Is this a possible scenario and if can, kindly let me know how to do the task.

Thank you in advance,

Not if your vCenter Servers are installed on Windows and on physical machines. This use case is why vCenter High Availability was developed, but that's only available on the appliance. In case you weren't aware, vCenter on Windows is not long for this Earth, so it's recommend you migrate away ASAP.

Hi,

Thank you for the comment.

I will try to re-configure and try the HA to test.

Thanks,

First, redeploy vCenter as the new Photon OS Appliance.

Here's a good series of articles that describes how vCenter Server HA works and how to configure it:
