Crashing Mac after IOS update?

hi all. since updating my IOS, every time i try and open VMWare Fusion, it crashes my mac.. is this a common problem?

Don't you mean macOS? IOS is for tablets, phones and watches.

What version is your macOS and what version is VMware Fusion?

Please note that on the latest macOS (macOS 10.13 High Sierra) you need to have VMware Fusion 10 in order to be supported.

Whatever your version it still surprises me though that just opening VMware Fusion does crash your mac, that certainly is not a common problem, not even if your VMware Fusion is older than Fusion 10.
