How to Stop Restart VMs when the vm moving one Esxi Host to another if one of the Esxi host failed

    gsmanigandan Lurker

I have created cluster and has been added host ESXA, ESX B into the cluster (HA, DRS Enabled).

Also created VM (1.21) in ESX A.while shutdown ESX A the VM went to ESX B afert restart.

My vm restart prirority is "High". Even I selected "disabled" option the vm went to shutdown mode.

What i need when Esxi host failure, VM should not restart while moving to another host.

Is there possible? If possible which option i need to select for my requirement?

My Testing Setup Details as follows:

      1. 192.168.1.3 - Vcs(6.0)
      2. 192.168.1.40 - Storage (Open Filer)
      3. 192.168.1.11 – Esxi A (6.0)
      4. 192.168.1.12 – Esxi B (6.0)
      5. 192.168.1.21 - Windows 7(Client)

Please help to find above scenarios.
