UAG 3.2.1: Unable to ping gateway or hosts in different subnet

I have a UAG appliance that cannot ping its gateway or other hosts on a different subnet. It can ping other hosts on the same subnet by IP. DNS resolution fails as well, presumably because of this issue.

The network configuration appears to be correct with default gateway, subnet mask, ip, etc. But nothing seems to get this to work. I tried enabling ipv4 forwarding, but that made no difference.

Using yast, it looks like the firewall is off. (Not sure of this is the right place)

Any suggestions what to try next?

Thanks.

That sounds a lot like a configuration issues with the subnet or default gateway.

Double check the subnet, gateway, and route table. Have you considered rebuilding it?

Hi,

look like you have multiple nic ?

if yes, have you configured the routes accordingly ?

default gateway is for internet nic only, if you want to join other subnet on either internet or admin nic, you need to configure the routes.
