Fusion Bootcamp VM is sluggish

Hello,

I have a bootcamp partition installed on my MacBook Pro (Late 2016) and I created a VM to use the partition. However, when I start the VM and navigate around in Windows the performance is absolutely awful. I have my RAM cut in half for the VM so the VM and MacOS each get 8GB.

Any thoughts to improve performance?

Hi,

Did you also cut the CPU's in half?

IOW  do not assign all the CPUs to the VM, if you starve the host from CPU then your VM will suffer too.
