You can collect log bundles using many other methods. Read KB articles below

Right now you can't because they haven't built that functionality yet. I'm sure this will come in time.

Hello zook,

This has not been (publically-available) implemented at the vSphere/Cluster level as of yet.

It has been added to the host-level available features if this is of any use:

Thanks to everyone that replied.

I was able to generate a support bundle using the Web Client (Flash-based), but an unspecified error occurs when the Web Client attempts to download the file to my PC.  Has anyone else experienced this?  How do you get it to work?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Hello djz,

As Finikiez linked to , using vm-support is potentially the most reliable method as this goes direct from host ( e.g. no interface or client to go through).

It is as simple as running:

# vm-support -w <directory Path e.g. /vmfs/volumes/Datastore1/FolderName/

And then transferring this via WinSCP to wherever you want it.

Quick update on this: I was able to collect the logs and the download worked while running Internet Explorer elevated (right-click, select Run as Administrator, provide admin credentials).
