VMWare Fusion 7.1.3 unable to open other VmWare fusion image on Mac Sierra

Hi All,

I have installed VMWare Fusion 7.1.3 on my Mac Sierra machine. I have a VM image which I would like to use to Create VM (for CentOS).

When I right click on the VM image and try to open it through my installed VMware fusion 7.1.3 it gives error: "Internal Error"

Could any one help me on this please?

Update: I downloaded Fusion 10 on my Mac and loaded the same VM image and it works fine. But when I enter the license key Fusion 10 is not accepting it as valid.

Thanks.

Hi,

Fusion 7 supports only until OS X Yosemite, macOS Sierra isn't supported. Trying to get Fusion 7 to run on macOS High Sierra is pretty certain to not work.

If you are trying to use your Fusion 7 license on a Fusion 10 install then it is expected to not work.

Every major Fusion version is a paid upgrade, so you will have to upgrade for a new license.

Hope this helps,
