I'm configuring some images where I would like to implement some simple steps to protect the users from themselves. It seems like gui.restricted = "TRUE" is exactly what I need, but when I put that in the .vmx file for my Windows 10x64 Pro images, it doesn't appear to have any effect on the image - the gui is still wide open. Am I missing something obvious?
I see I could go further and encrypt the image, but that really isn't necessary for the simple level of basic configuration protection I'm trying to achieve. I'd like to keep this as simple as possible for the rest of the team.
