VMware Workstation Failed to connect the Workstation Server

VMware Workstation 14.1

Host Windows Server 2015 (Hyper feature uninstalled)

VMware Workstation 14.1 works perfectly on Debian Sid.

How to troubleshoot this problem on Windows?    I have run "repair" workstation installation with no effect.   I can connect to my ESXi Server using Workstation so this is very pluzzling.

Can you check whether below Windows services are running?

VMware Workstation Server

VMware USB Arbitration Service
