Environment: Windows 10, WS 14 Pro 14.1.1 build-7528167
I was using WS 12 Pro to access and configure a vCenter and all its VMs. Everything worked flawlessly. But since I upgraded to WS 14 Pro I have very limited access to the vCenter, basically read-only access. I can see the vCenter VMs but when I right-click on them all associated options, from Open to Settings, are grayed out, and this regardless of the power state of the VM. Also, I lost access to the vCenter configuration itself, as listing the VMs is all I can do. The vCenter credentials have not changed, I still can manage it using the old vCenter standalone (C++) client.
Note: I have no issues managing the VMs in my laptop. All menus are available. The problem is with the vCenter resources only.
I checked the VMWare services on my laptop and they are all in "automatic" and "running."
Any ideas?
