We just took over support for a customer and the host ESXi Root account is locked out. We don't know what is locking it out, as we know the password. We can login to the DCUI and see that the lock down mode is grayed out. How can we get around this? How do we unlock root? And how do we turn off the function that locks out due to wrong credentials?
