cannot open virtual console to any VM with VCSA 6.5

Hello,

I've installed VCSA 6.5 latest (13000) and it worked well for the last few weeks.

Today something weird has happend, when I click on any VM in the browser and I try to click to open a console tab, it opens, but then immediately it shows a message "The console has been disconnected. Close this window and re-launch the console to reconnect.". Trying instead to open the window in remote console (using VMWare workstation installed locally on my machine) - works.

Looking at the VCSA's journal doesn't show anything special (when I click to open to open a remote in a tab on the browser - Chrome)...

Any suggestions?

Edit: When I'm doing the same thing from the ESXi machine's web console, it pops up the remote window correctly.

Verify that, if an incognito/private browsing tab, the console opens correctly. If it does, then delete cookies and cache for that vCenter instance from your browser.

Hi hetz

what user are you using on the vCenter?

Did you ever find a resolution to this? Same scenario for me. Can confirm that if I log directly into the ESXi host I can access the remote console of a VM, just not through vCenter.
