Unable to select VSAN licenses in licenses/Billing catégories or Licenses/Licenses set

Hi, I'd like to filter VSAN licenses as we already can do it for VSPHERE licences in Billing categories and Licenses set tab.

The main reason is to exclude some of my clusters which are licensed with VSAN perpetual keys.

Actually, I have to manually report by selecting only VCAN license keys inside the  xxx_UsageData_xx_xxxx-Virtual_SAN_by_vCenter_Server.tsv file.

          Hi David,

In vCloud Usage Meter, only vSPHERE licenses could be categorized under Licenses set tab.

In vCloud Usage Meter, With Customers and Rules, you have detailed control and can organize consumption reporting by Customer.

You can create Customer and map with the Rules that meters the vSAN Cluster for the vCenter Server instances.

By creating different customer rules in vCloud Usage Meter, you could associate customers with vSAN clusters that the appliance meters.

          Thanks,

          Vinayaga.
