I have a client with three hp servers running 2008 r2, the first Domain Controller converted perfectly. The remaining two servers were configured by someone else and when they boot they show 2 boot options: the normal boot and a second choice with secondary plex. When I converted the next server using the most recent (6.02) P2v converter the image boots with chkdsk running each time I boot it, it errors out stating it can't lock the disk, then boots to the boot screen with the secondary plex option. It will then proceed to boot. Once booted, it says that it is unable to install the base system driver and vmware tools install fails with a microsoft installer dll error message. I have tried to fix this using the Microsoft guidelines, no joy.
Any ideas?
