When should I upgrade to WS 14?

I'll answer first.   I will give VMware Inc $150 for an upgrade when I can run my Shared ESXi 6.5 VM under Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic Badger) which will be released in late April, 2018.   It will feature the Linux 4.15 kernel (rc'sshould be starting sometime this month) and also Windows 10 Spring 2018 (Redstone 4 - there are already Insider builds) also due in April 2018.   I have a 180GB ESXi 6.5 VM with Debian, Fedora Rawhide, Tumbleweed Kubuntu 17.10 (Artful) and Windoiws 10 IP Build 17025 running as Shared.   It works perfectly (or near perfectly) under Windows Server 2016 and Debian Sid w/ lernel 4.12 using WS 12.5.7

What are your upgrade plans guys?   Right now 14 won't run Workstation Server under Windows and won't run at all under Debian Sid.

Replying to my own post I should add that using a Shared Windows 10 IP VMware vSphere Client and PowerCLI work perfectly with the shared ESXi 6.5 Server VM and its guest clients.

What about it VMware, Inc.    April is only a short 6 months  away and surely you produce as Version 14 that does what I need without 3rd party patches or weird workaround on my current PC

CPU

Processor    AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor, 3300 Mhz, 3 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s)
