After conferring with the MyVMware team, I confirmed this is not on the communities side. If anyone else runs into this issue, please contact VMware Customer Support at: +1-877-486-9273
We are running Vmware software and I get the same issue.
Problem states that they are working on the solution, yet has been the same for at least 6 weeks.
All I want is to evaluate 6.5 (we are on 5.5). I cant even download the free software. Not good.
If I click 'Get Support' it says 'Unable to complete request'. This is ridiculous.
I cannot put a support ticket in due to the problem I wish to report.
I notice the forum account is using a different email address to my profile account (I have asked VMWARE to change these - maybe they messed something up !!!)
Only solution I can think of is to create a new email account, but this would not hold my license information.
Can you solve the problem with download, I'm with same issue.
I have same problem - please fix it!
I also have same problem, how is this big company cant solve this issue for a long time??
I have also faced this issue on my macbook air; can anybody please help me fix this now?
else should i re download the updated version and install it again?
Actually I have updated the mac os from High Sierra to Mojave but the problem is not yet resolved.
Kindly help me fix this asap;
Has there been any resolution to this issue? I am having the same problem. It's strange, I can log into My Workspace using "my vmware" credentials, but not into "my vmware" directly. I get the activation email and click "activation" over and over, but get unable to complete the request. It is very annoying.
Still not working and you can't contact support because you need an active account for that to work.
Okay - so I'll just log out of my inactive account and create a new one right?
There is no logout, because, guess what - account is inactive and logged in - genius.
