Esxi 5.0 Hosts upgrade to Esxi 5.5

HI,   My Vcenter 5.0 running on Windows 2008 r2 . So do i have to set SPN before the  upgrade? (setspn -Q STS/child-domain.vmware.com)   Or just select the Disk and upgrade? As

Remember to check the database compatibility, the database table versions.

Also, if your environment is simple, consider the option to build a new vCenter from scratch
