workstation player not displaying virtual machine

when I create a virtual machine it doesn't display in the player. After I open a virtual machine it doesn't display in the player. Any suguestions?

Any more details?  What do you mean by "it doesn't display in the player"?

Host OS?  Player version?  Guest OS virtual machine you created?

Meaning that no matter how many machines I create or import, the machine list on the left remains empty.

This is running on Linux Mint 8.2 (Ubuntu 16.04).

Came here to second - just discovered that I was also having this issue.

Host OS is Linux Mint 18.2, Guest OS doesn't matter (can be blank and have the same issue), and had this issue in Player 14.
