Cannot install Win2016 ROK on virtual machine

Hello,

until Win2012, with ROK license, using SMBIOS.reflectHost = "TRUE" and smbios.addHostVendor = "TRUE", it was possible to install the operating system.

With Win2016, it seems that this workaround no longer works.

did anyone manage to work Win2016 ROK on virtual environment ?

thanks in advance

Best regards,

Davide

Apart from the fact that a ROK licensed server is only licensed for the hardware that it was originally deployed on and by attempting to install it as a virtualized instance you are in breach of Microsoft Licensing terms and conditions.

this is not a question we can answer on this forum.  please speak to your Microsoft Distributor\reseller
