VSphere 5.5 3b install is going into endless reboot Loop

    Vernetzer Lurker

I'm triying to install a vSphere 5.5 3b (HP Image) on a HPE Proliant DL380 G9 with cd. After the Boot sequence and about 3 minutes of loading files from the cd, the Server ist rebooting without error message. This happens every time. Maybe someone can help me.

          Welcome to the Community,

          • did you verify the MD5 checksum for the downloaded ISO image yet, to ensure that it is not corrupted?
          • is the server configured for UEFI boot, with at least VT-x, and NX enabled?
          • how are you trying to install ESXi? Form a physical CD, or via iLO (Advanced)?
          • do you see any entries in the server's Management/iLO logs regarding the reboot?
