vSphere Initial Setup failed

Hello,

I installed the vRealize Automation 7.3 Appliance in simple Mode.

After that I would like to start the vSphere Initial Setup. After few seconds I get the following Error.

Someone has a solution for this?

Hello,

Are you using correct vRA License key and have VM Templates configured? If yes. Refer the below document for Initial Content configuration.

vRealize Automation 7 - Part 4, Initial Config as-a-service - [virtualjad.com]  ...

If still fails, login your orchestrator client run the initial content workflow manually.

Please consider marking this answer "correct" or "helpful" if you think your query have been answered correctly. Thanks, Srini

I think no need to install both license keys. We installed only vCloud suite it works for me. I am not sure about it. It depends upon your license scope.

You'll need to provide much more detail than what you've posted thus far. Explain your architecture, what settings you used during the install wizard, etc. The vRO error itself is not enough to go on to provide help.

Looks like the Fabric group name is coming as vsphere.local

Hi,

I resolved the issue from Post 1. The failure was in the credentials of the tenant.

But now the initial setup failed with the following error message after I accept the manuel Request in the inbox:

I select the VM Template, Network, Storake and resource pool.

It's failing when trying to create the composite blueprint with a 403 (forbidden) message, which looks like permissions. I also see this in the logged output which may indicate you have a space in the name:

There ist only here a space for no hyperlink.

Needs this user permissions in vCenter?

I said it wouldn't need them. The workflow is failing when calling out to vRA to build the composite blueprint with a 403 error code. That content builder wizard is not all that solid in my experience. You're better off creating your own items from scratch than letting it build them for you since you'll have to go back and change them anyhow.
