Boot error after converting from Hyper-V to VMWare

I converted with VMWare Converter a Linux Ubuntu VM from Hyper-V to VMWare and I'm getting now an issue with starting the new converted VM on ESXi 6.0 server.
The error messages can be found in the attached file.

The VMWare converter reported no issues during the conversion process.

Any ideas what could be the reason for this issue?

looks like you are trying to boot with UEFI.. did you try to change it to "legacy" BIOS?

Yes, I switched to legacy BIOS but the VM doesn't boot. With this setting the boot disk is being not found. Please see the attached screenshot.

Configure the VM to boot into firmware/BIOS on next boot.
Then go to the Boot-tap in BIOS and make sure scsi-disk 0:0 is on top of the list. Use F10 to save the settings.
