Permissions different between thick and web client

Hi folks,

I got a real head scratcher going on here. The situation is thus

I have an environment with 6 vCenter 6.0 servers connected via SSO. I have given an AD group permissions to 2 of those vCenters, Datacenters, Clusters, Folders etc. When I log in to the web client as a user in that group I do not see anything below the datacenter lever. If I log into 1 of the vCenters via the thick client I see everything I should see. I have verified permissions on both vCenters and they are what they should be.

Why would I see things in the thick client and not in the web? I am banging my head off the wall. Can someone help?

Please check the browser version. Ref doc: VMware vSphere 5.1

Try using Mozilla Firefox and install the client integration plug-in before logging onto the webclient. Download will be available in bottom of webclient logon screen.
