    Unable to start VM

    plaudeman Lurker

I just installed the latest Tech Preview onto my High Sierra Beta 17A358A but cannot open a Windows Server vm. The message I get is "Unable to retrieve kernel symbols"

Has anyone else seen this issue by chance?

          Hi plaudeman,

.     After you installed Fusion on High Sierra, did you see a “System Extension Blocked” prompt showing up. If yes, please follow the information shown on the prompt to give your approval for loading VMware kernel extension: go to System Preferences => Security & Privacy pane, click Allow button to approve vmware kernel extensions to load, then shut down and restart Mac host, launch Fusion again to see if your VM can start up
