Web client inventory issue

We have an issue where the vSphere web client is not showing the correct inventory of our vCenter, while the Windows vSphere client is fine.  Indications are we need to rebuild the inventory DB.  However, now that we are on vCenter Server 6.0.0, it appears VMware simplified this process somewhat by just resetting certain data providers (see: KB2113435).  It looks like only the resetting of the VPX product is supported without GSS approval.  Has anyone done this yet and can provide details?  Thanks

Can you login to vCenter Server via vSphere Client (old client) as administrator@vsphere.local and try to search for any VM?

Do you get correct results?

Also, can you create new VM and then try to search for it in both clients? Will you see this VM in vCenter Server inventory in Web Client?

Yea, the (old) vSphere client yields correct results.  I spun-up a new VM and it showed in the vSphere client, but not the web client.  I checked the logs and don't see anything that would usually point to the inventory DB having issues, but this happened on another one of our vCenters and rebuilding the inventory DB fixed the issue.  But that was with 5.x.  With 6.0 it appears the process is less intrusive, so was wondering if anyone had tried this yet (specifically, with the VPX product since that seems to be the one dealing with inventory objects like hosts, VMs, etc).  BTW, the new VM does not show in the inventory list in the web client, either, when logged in as administrator@vsphere.local.
