Dear Sir/Madam
I have an error when I deploy a .ova template in vcenter 6.5 u1 with 32 esxi 6.0 u3 hosts.
The error is: "transfer failed: the ovf descriptor is not available"
Did you verify the MD5 checksum of the ovf, could be a corrupt ovf file.
I'm having this issue as well and I'm running vCenter 6.5.0.1 Build 5973321. I've been trying to deploy the vRealize Orchestrator 7.3 appliance and am not able to because of this error. I've tried other OVF/OVA images and I get the same error. Additionally it happens with both the Flash and HTML5 web clients and have received the same results.
Has anybody found a fix to this? Is there a workaround?
Please refer the below link,
Hey Jgoodman,
I have had the same issue and the only way to import it was to use the vsphere client, it failed to customize it with your parameter so you have to edit the vm once it's up and running.
Hope it help.

Hello MohammadSharifi,
I have the same issue when I deployed vrops ova using Chrome on vcenter 6.5U1. But I have fixed it when I changed my web browser using IE 11.
Hope this can help you.
I had the same issue using Firefox changing to IE 11 fixed it for me too.
Thanks!
