virtual distributed switch 5.1.0 not allowing tunnel ip to reach with vcenter 6.0, but works with vds 6.0.0

What could be the reason for it ?, when I try to upgrade the VDS to 6.0.0 also it does not work until we create NEW VDS with 6.0.0

What are the hosts that are int he environment? Would you be able to upgrade to 5.5 then to 6.0 to see if this works around the upgrade?

Are there any log entries that show errors with the tunnel?

Actually I am just ping the tunnel end point ip configured on interface ..consider eth2 on server and VM on esxi host is configured with 1.1.3. and 1.1.1.3 ips it should be reachable first right. this is not working for me.

When I did direct upgrade on dvs ( it did not work ) , only upon new dvswitch creation it started pinging.
