Server migration very simple environment

I have a question, I have a server with VMware Esxi installed porem this server is with some problems, in case my doubt is if I remove the hard drive from that server and put in another it will start normal?

Hello,

There are chances that it may not work if the Hardware got changed, OS may boot but will misbehave. The ID should be same on another Servers as well.

You may please share some more info to help you wisely
