Hello,
I am new to VMware Workstation, which I loved so far, but have one question/problem. I have installed MacOS Sierra as one of (actually it's the only one at the moment) virtual machines, which works fine, but I am unable to change USB Controller compatibility to USB 2.0. Actually I am unable to change any of the Virtual Machine Settings. It "allows" me to change, remove and add hardware, but none of changes I make, stick (apply) and after pressing Ok button, settings stay as they were before. Am I missing anything? I've tried suspending machine, rebooting VM as well as Workstation, installed new update, but none of above seems to change anything.
Any ideas? Thank you!

I'm afraid what you might be "missing" is the legal and technical restrictions. Please read the following discussions:
Vmware Workstation unrecoverable error popup when trying to start virtual machine
After upgrade Workstation MacOS returned "DSMOS: SMC read error K0: 133" and it didn't power up
Macosx virtualiszation problem with Workstation pro but it was working
Create a MacOS Sierra VM on a PC
Mac OSx under VMWare 12.1.1, Windows 10 - sudden iPad USB issues

Thanks for your help (suggestion) gimmely! I will try again by asking similar question for Windows XP, where I am facing exactly the same issue with Workstation.
