Hello,
I am a little bit buggy for the moment.
I am running VMware Workstation PRO 12.5.7 build-5813279 on the latest Ubuntu 16.04 LTS ( Linux HP-EliteBook-850 4.8.0-58-generic #63~16.04.1) and it looks like that I have problem with the Virtual Network at start-up. I have no vmnet (1) network after boot
I remarked this on my VM-Guests as they were complaining about having no network connection. However if I change to the "Virtual Network Editor" and press "SAVE" ( without changing any of my parameters), my VM-Network starts up as usual
My Ifconfig -a
vmnet1 | Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:50:56:c0:00:01 |
| inet addr:192.168.2.1 Bcast:192.168.2.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 |

The output of /etc/init.d/vmware restart :

While googling I found some issues on secure boot, but as far I can follow these threats , Secure boot is turned off.
Is there are workaround to this ?
